Paint on even the most delicate silk fabrics with confidence using Setasilk paints, offered in a palette of rich, refined and bright colors with a transparent, glossy finish. These water-based, fluid paints fuse easily with most types of silk (twill, pongee, Crpe-de-Chine, Georgette, Damask silk, and more) while conserving their flexibility. Setasilk paints also suit many silk painting techniques: outlines, salt sprinkling technique, watercolor, sun printing technique, wax batik, mahaju technique, and more. After air-drying for a few minutes, iron the reverse side of fabric for 5 minutes (cotton setting) OR place in preheated oven for 5 minutes at 300F (150C). Once colors are fixed, fabrics can be hand-washed or machine-washed (delicate setting) at up to 100F (40C). Available in 45 ml and 250 ml bottles. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
